Dear Mr Baldry,
please do not take this personally as there is no intention either actual or implied in any suggestion or remark I might make regarding your post that could or should be taken as being in any way detrimental to you or to anyone else on this forum but I would respectfully suggest in the nicest possible way that you should take note that a thread has already been started regarding the possibility of racing on Sunday the 21st December in fact on this wonderful and completely unbiased Forum I notice said thread is only 3 threads up from the position your own thread finds itself in. You should also note that the different kinds of racing have already been discussed on this thread and some suggestions, including strangely enough, some from your dear self. I would therefore agree without prejudice of course that as our dear and exalted leader has suggested you should take notice of the other thread and possibly, unless of course you have any objections, partake once more in entering any further suggestions you have in the first thread.
Once again I humbly apologise if this post in any way appears to be detrimental towards you and I can assure you it was done in the best possible taste.

Hi all I do think Les has a point as we need to firm up the format for sunday and maybe splitting the day as has been suggested sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for your support Gary...At least a constructive post by a sensible member ....unlike Victor Meldrew above "that should wind him up" ;D I still fancy the short fun team race, with some "serious" racing later?

Only idiots wind me up as well you know!
I think the fun morning and slightly more serious afternoon is a good idea Les. Best of both worlds.
Weather at the moment looks OK as well.

Ok just an idea
Team race that every one can get involved in to warm us up
Caravan/trailer race "if some have made them?
Followed by last man standing heats,I have an idea for a handicap system based on "lifes" and a limited time safe place hiding area.
Descent lunch break to get our breath back followed by quallies and finals??
None of the above "hopefully" should be hard to organize, play it by ear, see how the time goes and the amount who turn up?
Any other suggestions

teams of 2 - whichever team gets most laps in 30 minutes? one car, both must drive (15 minutes each), at least 3 batteries to be used...... anything goes? dont know about motor temp thou :S last man standing sounds good (time to break out crazy taxi shell ) and I have a caravan. I would like to see a shootout race..... 10 cars start off at different points on the track (equally spaced apart) you get eliminated if a car over takes you.... last man standing wins? aka quick rounds and great defence practice
