The weather is looking excellent for tomorrow, it's gunna be chilly so wrap up warm (gives everone a chance to wear those big thick christmas jumpers you got from auntie). No rain or even cloud forcast, woo hoo!
Booking in will open about 9:30 and racing will start about 10:00.
Tomorrow's meeting will be round 5 of the Brassmonkeys winter championship.

It may have been very cold, but the sun was nice, and the track dry and surprisingly grippy. Good fun, until that darned tyre broke my car, again. That's far too many times now.
Can I start a campaign for replacing the tyre with a suitably sculpted kerb? I'll do the work!

Happy New Year!
I see only 5 people took part in racing on 28th Dec and the meeting went ahead and points awarded...can the committee confirm that providing a minimum of 5 racers take part a meeting will always proceed and points will be awarded...I only ask for clarification as the minimum used to be 8.

There was actually 7 who booked in but one member left early and the other racers membership doesn't start until January, so he wasn't awarded points.
I advertised the meeting as being round 5 of the winter championship and the racers who turned up wanted to run it as a championship meeting, so I felt it was only fair to run it as such.
To clarify: If enough racers (club members or non-club members) turn up to a meeting, then a meeting will always go ahead, if the general consensus from those racers is that a championship meeting should go ahead then we will always try to fulfill those wishes.
