Hi Mike, unfortunately we only run electric at South Hants. If you've been out of racing a while the speed of the modern brushless cars will surprise you, come on down to Bashley on a Sunday and weather permitting, we'll be racing 1/10 touring cars and maybe a mini or 2. you may just be convinced to change to electric

Stock brushed motor (27T) is just fine to get you racing again, worry about the best motor later...
We race indoors on Wednesday nights too.

hi i do have a electric car it is hpi rs2 pro4 so what is the best motor to have and what is the price if you race stock A good 27t stock motor is a little under £30...most of our members deal with Terry at Reality Racing in New Milton..Have a chat with him ,he races too and will put you in the right direction...be weary of buying a motor from a model shop that does not specifically deal with touring car racing...there is some junk out there that would'nt pull your hat off !!

thankyou for all your help and will come along to have a look first mike I believe the indoor racing this Wednesday is not on due to blood donors using the hall, but Should be on this Sunday (Check the forum for confirmation first though) at the outdoor track. Come along and have a look, see what you think. But charge your batteries and bring your car, just in case you get there and fancy having a go. I'm new to the club too, but I have to say, everyone is SOOO friendly and helpful, you will love it.
