Trunks! Yes, I'm larding up and swimming the the channel of a wintery Sunday... There's a rumour abound that someone in the club has done it, well, almost, to the IoW...

What a good days racing! Darn those Bevel Gears and the thrashnells set up! Second slowest at the end of qualifying - and not a great deal better until final 3 Still enough about my poor day! It was great to see Gray outdoors again after a long stint of indoor rug munching... Rumour has it Ian Newton showed Adam how to strip last night.. it obviously had nothing to do with cars as he too couldn't get it together almost but not quite as bad as me! Well done to James Calland, A spirited performance until he cracked a C hub...Two breakages in two weeks.. before I know it he'll be another driver that's going faster than me! Craig Maher sp?? - showed us all how it's done in 10.5 with a sexy sexy Xray 009 20 lappers all over the place! Adam Smith, went purple.. then blue.. then purple.. and then stayed blue for the rest of the day.. 415msx... he was suitably poor for a tamiya driver! - just like Simon Crabb, who arrived.... played with Jennie, and left again (for those interested Jennie wasn't a human, or indeed a female) The Newburrys came out to play also! - both of them annoyingly fast considering their long holiday... How distant is that rain dance now Adam? Have people forgotten about it yet?? For those who can't remember that far back it was Cotswolds the last time we saw Chris put a car around the track! Other people to show their faces sadly without cars, include some bloke called Sam, who used to work in that L _ _ r _ shop looking for Les (his absence was noted at the top of the A). Terry, Geoff and Ian M, Martin Smith, and Darren Knight (who should be returning to racing for the reality cup!) all also came down to say hello! Many thanks to all those who came out to play in the balmy 9degree temperatures we touched on at lunchtime. Hope to see you all next week! (I promise Q1 wont go out before 10AM) Matt Disclaimer: No animals (aside from that rat), or humans or feelings(hopefully) were harmed during this days racing and the race report.

Bloke called Sam??....If he comes back racing god help us all...he's top level standard....He left racing due to some very dirty tactics at a very important national meet a few years ago( other team orders to take him out, cause he was too quick!! )...He is also a super nice chap!!!!..put it this way If Sam was to come back at serious level one or two top SLCC drivers may have their work cut out to beat him!!!

You are right there. If Sam comes back he will undoubtedly be on the pace! Be nice to have him back.
