I had a great night tonight! Racing was good, clean, fun and rather fast!
Well done to all those who took part!
Please note Trophies for the last championship will be presented next week!

Tonight was good yeah, it seems clean in all heats, nice.
Some feedback on the 'wide boy' track designs we've used over the last few weeks would be welcome, are they too open, too simple, or actually quite nice?

I like the 'Fat Boy' tracks.

Perhaps we should complete the rest of the series on them - it's only three more weeks - and then we can ask for opinions - particularly of the mini drivers, as there's a few from wednesday night who don't have internet access/ use the forum that i can think of; The other Youngs, Dean Saunders, Keith E, Owen, Derek and co...

Yep, the Wide Boy tracks are different to what we normally have run, mainly as the track tends to be 1.5 carpet widths wide, rather than just 1 carpet wide.
Less corners, quicker lap times, but more room, I certainly think it's reduced incidents in all classes, making for happier racing!
I've done a couple more variations on the theme for the rest of the series.

certainly more room for people to get out of each others way quickly - less is most certainly more in this case i feel!

I think the Wide Boy track's great, less accidents, which means less money for me to outlay each week on repairs.
I think its novice friendly, and it also provides the more experienced drivers with what looks like some competitive racing. ;D

I prefer the fatboy tracks! In the past the tracks have almost felt like they were designed for the minis!
