Normally when the shaft wears and has lots of play/slop its the alloy dog bone pivot hole that wears oval towards direction of rotation,so fitting the HPI repair kit 75188 ( 4.4mm hardened steel pivot,needle pin and grub screw) is a waste of time. To my surprise I have found that the Xray T2 008 drive shaft's pivot is exactly 0.1mm larger in diameter (4.5mm) so with a bit of carefull working with a Dremel and small post stone the alloy Cyclone drive shaft can be worked to accept the slightly larger pivot...Xray part No 30 5231 £3.99 each Xray had to be good for something ;D...Sorry Pete that one was hard to resist

Well I supose some one has to drive them ....Was that 10,9 and 8 placings on the grid with other makes faster pete???lol Ps do you have a spare ESC drive shaft in your pit box,I would like to put a vernier around one to see if they might fit the old Purple plodder
