Can anyone offer some advice. I use a 13.5 Losi brushless motor. I have recently tried a GTB speedo. I also use a spektrum 2.4 tranny. I have found that when I alter the speedo from factory settings, say upping the punch, the car cuts out when out on the track. I do not know if the problem is the motor, speedo or tranny. Anyone hear of this problem and if so any ideas?
Cheers.

This is a pure guess Trev...Does the motor run again after a short break?..if so it may be the speedo shutting down prematurely sensing a thermal overload..faulty speedo or motor?? does the motor perfom ok when it is runing? ie plenty of punch and top end,is the motor very hot when it does pack up "short in the windings" causing the speedo to shut down?
I would probably eliminate the motor first???

My Losi 17.5 motor behaved a bit like this when I blew it. It would run for a few laps, and then just stop, and come off very hot after just that short time.
Check to see what's hot when it cuts out.

I think you lads have hit the nail on the head wit the motor thing, that was where my thoughts were heading.
I am looking to get a 2nd generation speedo and new motor but start with the motor first as I think that is where the problem may lie.
Any suggestions on a new motor???
Cheers.
