There's a few of us having a bit of an impromptu work party down at the track today, we're attempting to sort out some race director related issues, however there's a few other jobs that could be looked at at the same time! - so if you fancy lending a hand for an hour or so and then maybe having a blast round with your car... then come along! Thanks to all those who turned up to help! I think a free meeting might be in order for the dedicated few who turn up every time!
Looking forward to hearing the chamberlain's (sp?) quote for the revised track layouts also!

Hi Matt,
FYI
To fill in the top of the hair pin you are looking at just under 0.4 cubic metres..
Didn't measure out the proposed changes fully, need to bring the tape measure tomorrow...
Need to know how thick current track is to calc volume for tweeks!
Cheers
Dave

0.4 cubic metres from Wickes (instant lay macadam) 6 bags, should get some change from £25...

Matt,
Not to speak out of turn, but what exactly are the proposed layout changes?
Is this going to be put to all members before being finalised?

Nah mate, we're gonna do it, and if you don't like it it's tough titty! LOL filling in the top of thermometer is the first plan Matt; that would allow us to run when there's a puddle at the bottom of the thermometer... But in all seriousness any changes will be put to members before they are made, however it's wise for us to have half an idea of what stuff will cost to know if we can afford to do it! - the more racers.. the more chance we've got of making improvements that the members would like to see! next time your down you can cast your eye over what we might, possibly, maybe, perhaps, could, maybe, change! The Newtonator is the man with the plan! Matt
