Just for a bit of fun I've started to 3D model our track using google sketchup.. The 1st iteration is now avaiable on the google 3D wharehouse.. Just download Google Sketchup (for free) & install (if you've not already got it) and using the 3D wharehouse search for SHMCC.. Once the model has down loaded you can take a virtual tour around the rostrum, track & race control caravan!! as I've said this is the first iteration so it's not perfect.. just a bit of fun! Somehow I've never heard of Google Sketchup! Now I get it! It's a thing for creating 3D models of things that you can then put on Google Earth! Neat. I couldn't work out how to use Sketchup though, so I downloaded Sketchup Viewer instead, then downloaded the model by searching for SHMCC on sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/Hey! Put the new cabin in place so we can see what it's gonna look like! (When's the new cabin due, by the way?)
