Put my entry in the post today. Never raced with slick tyres on carpet before should be interesting.

I will be taking RP24's & RP30's for you guys to all meetings plus some spares and consumables. I will however keep them in the boot of my car as I am not the official shop.

Im glad Im runing 13.5 as I predict Terry Crew to be a bit of a dark horse in the 17.5 class this week end "no pressure Terry ;D"...I dont fancy getting my backside whoooped especialy by my sponser :'(lol I dont know how serious the racing will get this weekend but the jungle drums seem to indicate the Thrasnalls are more of a get together with the SLCC crew over the winter for some fun and banter

Today was a fun day , I managed 6th in B then in finals got me a 4th and either a 6th or 7th (cant remember), some interesting driving tactics from some of the drivers - managed to break me a rear shock tower . Definitly doing it again!

Today was a great day! - I wish i'd made the A but you can't beat lapping everyone in your first final, and all but one in your second! Mi4 it's the way forwards!! Matt

Ill second that I quallied 8th in the A ,got smashed about in my first final and the second final was pilot error ;D Terry did very well,Quallied 2 fastest in stock , won one final and was 5th I think in the other All in all the Photons first time out in stiff competition did very well...just have to refine the set up,at least we had no breakages, its a very tough car!!and unlike its predecessor(Scythe) not a tweak in sight.

Agreed about the driving standards, I was lucky that the heat was in was pretty clean (aside from my car being flattened in q2, to be fair it wasn't the other drivers fault, he rolled directly in front of me, and i couldn't avoid him.)
Everyone was in great spirits which was nice, aside from some lad, James from the C final - eratic both on and off the track, I'm sure Reuben would agree!

Matt The Mi4 has certainly improved my driving (indoors anyway : . It was my first visit to the Trashnals/Thrashnals and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Started in Stock 'B' which was problematic but got into Stock 'A' and finished 3rd in the second final. Whats more the Mi4 would appear to be quite sturdy. Nothing broke, even after the marshal test - a 16st marshal inadvertantly jumped on it whilst trying to avoid an oncoming car PaulB

indeed it does seem very sturdy, after coliding at the end of the straight with someone and hitting the brick wall, the only thing that needs replacing is my rear shock tower! apart from that no breakages

the only thing that needs replacing is my rear shock tower! Hahaha that makes it sound great - honestly tho, i think the sexrays had more breakage issues that the photons and the mi4's put together, a good show from reubes and the rest of team Schumacher, and team xray.. And a great show by the reality racing team, 3 high finishers in 13.5 and 1 in 17.5.. it's a pitty they don't do a Club points table - I'm sure we'd be in with a shout!! Matt

like home from home for you guys with all the bumps ! (actually almost jumps) personally my idea of carpet racing is generally on a smooth surface ! also the driving standards across the whole field wasnt good ! (moan over) lol , what did you guys think of rp30s ? i thought they are over priced and offer little grip ! (compared to sorex 28s)

(compared to sorex 28s) Hey Gwesty nothing wrong with our lumps and bumps...just cause your "Terry's chocolate orange" cant handle them..lol ...yep you are right I would imagine a few fast qually runs were ruined by those moguls in the carpet. I must admit I'm not in love with the RP range,Ive yet to have a true set, buckles and lumps and bumps from new and the rim diameter is too small and fouls camber links on some cars ...A little "baggy" for my liking too (large air gap) Oh and Matt we have yet to impact break anything at all on the Photon..Oh sorry, to quote Gwesty my "Brokon" ;D....

Fantastic!!!
Best days racing I've had in ages. Other than a tire issue in final Leg 1 the Photon was great and should be even better next time out.
Well done to all the Reality Racing drivers, a great result guys.
