Hi, With regards to Lipo battery packs i have noticed there is sometimes a "20C" or "40C" on the description of the battery pack. When searching for Lipo's there is a clear price difference between the two and even the "25C" etc. What does the "C" meen exactly ?

25C means it can constantly discharge at 25 x it's capacity
eg 5000mah 20C will discharge at 5000 x 20 = 100,000 mah or 100A
However there is no rules set for how C is measured so some cheaper packs may say 30C and they'll be quoting a "burst" rate which is how much power it can deliver for a short time rather than a constant discharge,
Good LiPo brands include Orion, Trackpower and Intellect - you can get all of them from model shops in the UK, which means they'll have a UK warranty, alternatively pick up some second hand ones from a local racer we're all kind to our lipo's so you shouldn't be buying any rubbish!
