I might be there chambo! - can I request highway to the danger zone as the Ansmann's/lowest stock go out.. last week that was total carnage!!
I fancy an evening of slowness, so i'm attempting to get hold of a slower motor... if not.. I guess it'll be prostock again!

My car perminatly drifts to the left lol, martin young said it could be the servo saver and alot of the screws were loose.
so i had to take it apart and put it back with simon and i rounded a few more screws. And when i put it back together it won't turn left but i think i know whats wrong with that so i'll have to wait and see.

Hi Josh It wont be the servo saver causing the trim to drift the same way each time. It's got to be either the servo or possibly the turnbuckle on the servo jumping threads in the ball cup. Can't think what else it might be?? The servo saver was damaged but this would cause the steering to not centre properly so the car would drift to the left and right not just one way. HTH Martin

Sadly my skills, chassis and 13.5 are only just enough to keep up with your photon and your thumbs and a 17.5! If I decide to run, I might just borrow at 17.5 and try and follow you and terry round what about Reubes? does he fancy a 17.5 evening?

Hi, Servo wise i have a Acoms AS-17 and a 16 version that dean gave me, tried that but it only turned right =/. And as for the other questions i honestly have no idea. I have replaced the servo saver with a new one and i have tightened the steering shaft? screws but i have yet to test it

Ok Josh
Steering centred means wheels pointing straight ahead Servo horn is the plastic bit screwed to the servo Servo link is your "steering shaft" I think - it joins the servo horn to the servo saver
So with the wheels pointing straight ahead and looking at the car from the battery side
Is the servo horn dead upright; or is it angled to the left or right? If it is not vertical what is the angle? 1230, 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock or what
Looking at the steering shaft and the servo saver where they are connected, what is the angle between them, 90 degrees? a little more or less, a lot more or less?

When the wheels are straight the servo horn is almost vertical but very slightly to the right looking from the back i'd say 1220 and the servo link i think is 90 degrees.

Well one half of the Schumacher "team" turned up to face the "photon team" the other half bottled it!! I ran 17.5 and I'm pleased to say no breakages! - this 17.5 deal is OK I guess, but my heart lies in 13.5! - many thanks to Terry for lending me the motor, and to Les for teasing me into running it earlier! Matt
