I am very keen to go to protect my lead in the stock championship.
In Stephen Fabray’s heat listing email he said “Will keep you updated in relation to weather changes, but at the moment it looks fine”.
My feeling at this time is to set off early and see how the journey goes. If it gets to bad I will just turn back.
Things could change dramatically by Sunday.
Best we post here with our final decisions Saturday evening.

metcheck is showing more snow for this morning, tonight, and all day tomorrow.. and Sunday morning, the Roads up through Devizes etc can be a bit crappy at times, so i'll play it by ear, the temperatures arent due to get above freezing untill after tuesday, and there's more snow forcast then..
I'm probably 70% not going at the moment

Just had a phone call from Ian N. He is not going up this weekend end. He mentioned that one of his drivers made his way down from melksham today, but it was very slippy and lots of black ice in places.
I am still going at present, as is Mr Findlay I think. We will be keeping to the A36 to warminster then up from there ide imagine. Gotta keep my top 10 in superstock alive! and get a few A final positions.

Well I will not be going to Chippenham but if there is racing indoors at the hall on Sunday I will be there.
Forecast is not good for the weekend.

Can't beleive you of all people are not up for a little snow ploughing Ian!!

Oh don't worry. Will be getting the buggy out again to ruin the virgin snow on the track if nothing else is happening.
Sorry, sold out of boot grippers. Had a bit of a run on them would you believe! Next delivery end of January. Have lots coming in then.

If you do take the buggy down to bashley, I want to see a few jumps made from snow on the straight, like a few doubles and a table top

I live in Frome about 20mins south of Melksham and all the main roads around here are fine. I would take the A36 to Warminster and then the A350 to Melksham. The Devizes route acround the edge of Salisbury Plain would be a nightmare! Obviously the weather will be a deciding factor for everyone, even me!

The main roads are still clear and shouldnt be a problem. The local forecast is for light snow showers from midnight tonight and all day tomorrow! At the moment I'm still planning to attend

Great days racing. ;D Well done to all SHMCC drivers. A final first place finishes for Me & Jason.
Journey both ways fine. In fact quicker, a lot less traffic on the road.

Yeh it was surprisingly clear with no ice on the main roads at all. Where is all this snow we were suppose to have? Great day for me, 8th in the A. Finished 10th (lost body clips), and 5th
