Im available on the 22nd. I can come down all day aswell.
Ill bring my TC and I have another Eco based car that can be used by the public - its all ready to run just needs an appropriate motor - currently it has a 27t sealed can which is slower than the clash.
not sure yet about the 5th June, but if im down south ill be there.

OK, thanks to everyone who has volunteered!
Fun day runs from 12pm to 5pm but...
We will be setting up from 10am and will need quite a few of us to get the ropes from the hall into the rec ground to set up a track on the basket ball court..
The plan is to have a small tarmac track to show off the cars and to allow the "public" (for a small "donation" to the track repair fund) to have a three minute slot with a car & transponder to set a fast lap for the leader board.
We will also have some tables setup for "show"cars and Terry will have a stand with some stock on display..
If you can bring along your cars & kit needed to keep them running for the afternoon that would be great..
We will need you to chat with interested members of the public, promote the club, hand out flyers for our open day and help run the leader board..
Oh and I almost forgot.. Help put the ropes etc back just after 5pm please.
Weather is looking great and this should be a great chance to raise a little more money for the track & get a few more people along to the club to see what it's all about..
Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!!

Hi guys,
I was really looking forward to tomorrow, unfortunately found out earlier this evening that I have to work.
I really am sorry as I really tried to keep tomorrow free. I hope it goes well and the club gets some well-deserved publicity...and some pennies for the pot too!

A BIG thanks to everyone who came down and supported the day Special thank you to Martin C for being an absolute star and running the 3 minute fastest lap challenge... Not an easy job with all of the kids queuing up!! Also on the honours list, Mr & Mrs Longhurst, Rubes, Slow Deano, Jason F, Team Pettit, The Webernator, Mr Young and Terry Reality Racing Crew!! Apologies if I've missed anyone! I should also thank Ansmann for making a car that can withstand 5 hours of public abuse without breaking a thing!! A good day was had by all and we raised £83 for the track fund plus had some really good publicity for the club and our own open day event on the 5th June
