Whats there pros and cons

Cor... can of worms Dean...
Both are good.. GM has more options for adjusting, Tekin has less but doesn't mean its any slower.
Whatever you choose I doubt you will need the pro versions (i.e. for the GM the 90 is probably best suited for you, and for the Tekin, the RS is fine, no need for the pro. Unless you plan to run Mod with them).

the GM 90 is fine down to 3.5t - which is lower than i'll ever go..
The gm has data recovery - meaning you can gather information about what the motor and speedo are doing out on the track...
The GM has a habbit of stalling on the line if you sit for more than 30 seconds... (it's not just me who's had this issue)
the tekin seems to go on at the end of straights/ loose contact with the reciever....
they're both as fast as each other, and both have a "fatal" issue.. personally I'd rather have it stall on the line, and let me slow down on corners.. rather than the other way round!
however...
If I were buying a speedo right now..
it'd be a hobby wing.. it's cheaper than chips!

i would also go for the hobbywing.i have to say i have been happy with my tekin but it was about 3 times the price of the hobby wing and no faster.just a shame i did'nt know about the hobbywing at the time.

Can O'Worms.. . I've personally had not a single issue with my Tekin.. Although it has been known to happen, But then being near the front of a 10 car grid nailing it off the line when your car stalls is about on par with this issue if you ask me. Neither of which issue is known to me with the Speed Passion or Hobbywing's. however... If I were buying a speedo right now.. it'd be a hobby wing.. it's cheaper than chips! Agreed.. I have the Tekin And Hobbywing. All my PB's have been set with the Hobbywing which as you will see from my Sig, are not that slow. Not bad for less than a bag of chips.

Not sure really.. Bit of both I think. Agree on the Hobbywing.. but think the other 2 issues are as bad as each other. Neither issue I would prefer to have.. as both can end up with nasty broken bits.
I've not experienced any problems luckily, but if I did I think I'd get shot of it pretty quick.

Not making a recommendation because we haven't used any of the others. Just wanted to say that we have never had any problem with the Tekin especially at the end of straights and that includes Aldershot. Mind you Craig does push the steering stick to the right at the end of the straight which probably accounts for it

sorry to hijack the thread but if you had to choose between sp lpf 2.0 and the GT V2.1 ESC Pro Stock which one would you choose? cheers Ginge depends which one you think looks better and which one you would like on your car. apart from that, nothing. Im using a 2.0 LPF. but the 2.0lpf comes with mod software so this would need ot be updated to the stock stuff if you wanted to go really fast. The 2.1 comes with the latest software already loaded I think.
