From Darren: Ok just installed the Rs in my T3 011 with 212 and the minimum throttle at 0 but it still seems to give a jolt of power when i first pull away.It almost feels like there is a minimum throttle set and it is kicking in. Does anyone have an idea how i can smooth this out a little ? would it be worth setting some neutral width and if so how much
17.5 duo 2 timing set 1 click above centre (dont know what this is in deg sorry) FDR 6.38 boost 40 turbo 12 ramp 0.2 delay 0.5 profile 4 rpm start 5000 ish rpm finsh 18000ish neutral width 0
That is almost the same as we ran at Bashley on Sunday Darren and Craig had no such problem - 1st time we have run a 17.5.
I know Les runs his Duo with a higher ratio, 6-6.1ish I think. We were running 50 boost but no idea how similar we would be on engine timing. We had the X11 at lowest setting on the endbell which I think is around 20 degrees but I m not sure.
Suggest you set neutral width to 10. That is the Tekin default advice and we have always used that. In my view your RPMs look pretty spot on, although we did change from 5K/20K to 4.8K/15K which Craig felt gave him a bit more punch out of the corners

Sorry I should have said that we were running 208 but as you had you min throttle set to 0 then as I understand it there would be no difference between the two in feel.

You also should have said that this was a post I put on rc tech mate. Cheers though will try the neutral range idea.
