Righty; the venue we used today, the school hall, has the possibility of being our regular weds night venue also,
so..
How did you find the parking?
What about the lighting?
was the pitting to cramped?
did you miss the tables being there like normal?
is the Rostrum to high?
is there anything you didn't like about it?
anything you might like to change?
should we seriously consider a move? or if it's not broken don't fix it??
the committee see the reasons to change as being; Cost (it should be cheaper) Lighting (it's better than our hall) Rostrum (its nice and high!) availability on Sundays - (we could do every sunday if we really really wanted too!)

Awesome venue I think.can't think of any bad points. Where would we store the gear?

we could use the canteen for pitting - with all the tables and chairs.. but we'd need to clean the tables at the end of the meeting (food regs)
personally; It felt like i was at work today, didnt feel like i was at a meeting :s

I think it's a big plus to have the option to use on a sunday. I also agree to have guaranteed sunday racing regardless of weather is great. parking great lighting spot on If this became permanant the track could become bigger Pitting (for me great) easy to ask for advice Down side no storage I cant really comment on wed night as i cant make it. But my vote goes for change of venue as i say every sunday racing what ever the weather Must be a plus

I found it was very good, I found the rostrum perfect to see the track (something important when you need to see the ends of the rope!) If we planned to run indoors over the winter there I'd be up for that! Not sure which class I would run, but it would also mean that the mini and 12th drivers would have a venue to race at on Sunday Parking was good, but I soooo need a hauler bag! I liked the fact we could use the "house" PA - made things nice and clear (and Bose audio lol!) All in all it was a great venue and I'm all for it

Yep it gets my vote, as long as we can get easy access storage on site. If we get rid of the rope, it could quite possibly be the best indoor track south of Newbury Just a note, it started to get a little warm in there though - I was in a T-shirt and it was warm.

Love the venue and plenty of space and light. If we made it permanent then could we get another carpet for the end and stick it width ways to lengthen the track. Would be great with piping as well. Gets my vote.

Great race meeting.
An ideal venue for SHMCC indoor racing. Especially if it can save the club some money.
However Dave C and me did suffer from interference using 2.4 (I have never had a problem anywhere before) hope it’s just a coincidence.

With winters like this seeming to now be the norm i think this venue should try and be secured if possible.
