Hi everyone, Happy easter!!! New lipo (tubes) wont take a charge. On charger display it says low-voltage. Any ideas ?

If volts have gone to low Chris, you might need to tickle it up to 6v+ by using ni-mh mode on your charger, use a couple of hundred mAh to get things going and use a lipo bag!!! When it shows 6v + stick it on a normal lipo charge..
Chances are the lipo is done for, but its worth a try..

Most chargers will say low voltage when connected to a battery with less cells than the charger is set on. So i would first check that your charger is set to 2s 7.4 or 3.7 per cell what ever your charger shows it as. if the thing is somehow set to 3s 11.1volt than it will not let you charge a 2s pack till the settings are changed. I get it all the time with mine as I switch between 2s for the touring car to 1s for the 12th. If not than Daves Idea is the next step mate. Let us know how you get on with it.

Thanks dave & daz it now takes a charge(daves way) Daz i thought when i plugged the battery into the charger it would know what it was e.g. 1s,2s etc thats why i'm a chippie and your a spark LOL Big thanks to both of you its good to be back!!
