We had a great time Dave. It was good to be back after such a long break and we really enjoyed our day, although the kneck is paying for it this morning! The Pro Stock field seems to have tightened up considerably in terms of performance, apart from Reuben of course. Shame Les did not stick with playing with his balls so that his diff would last a race meeting As for young Master Petit he took Craig in 3 out of 3 starts on the 2nd bend so that will be no 1 on the agenda at our team debrief meeting on Tuesday. ;D I think we also established that moving the rear wing back on the LTC-R works but doesn't on the Speed 6! My diary says that next weekend is a club championship meeting but the website is now saying it isn't. Am I right in thinking the next one is now 14th August?!

Yep I was a bit miffed the rear gear diff let go 2 laps in,it was a with a working fast set up from one weds nights 17.5 class but with a gear diff up front to try and improve turn in/rotation....I could have borrowed Martin Youngs gear diff but I knew I couldn't reproduce the gear oil I was using (left it at home,Muppet ) plus I couldn't be bothered to alter the car back to ball diff/spool set up! Still I enjoyed the challenge of Pro-Eco for a change,It proves that 19 laps is poss in this class! but is just as hard to get as a 21 in the brushless classes. Yep Pete some people don't realize the "fine tuning " potential a rear wing position can give to steering/grip..... it should work with any shell too

Correct Pete, next Sunday Champ round is the 14th Aug.. Why not pop down to New Milton town center on the 10th July and watch the Pedal Car GP?? It really is a fantastic event to watch.. Just a reminder to all the latest race calendar is available on the main web site page............ www.wannarace.co.uk/events.html

Well I would just like to add that the LTC round bashley for me (and a number of other drivers) is far faster than anything else - once you tamed the rear end, slap it on - drive a little more carefully .... nothing quite gives the front end that the LTC gives, and bashley neeeeds front end

We will certainly be persevering, I just felt that RRC finals was not the approprate place
