Hi not having camped in the Bashley village before, do we bring our own BBQ food or make a fiscal contribution to the pile of carcinogenic protein? ;D

Hi not having camped in the Bashley village before, do we bring our own BBQ food or make a fiscal contribution to the pile of carcinogenic protein? ;D I intend to bring my own,..we normally make a list on the day and pop out to get it,but the location of the track and shops may make this impractical."thoughts any one?"

matt there should be a nearly new source of ignition in the container, if it hasnt walked. im also bunked up with ian in les tent so my one should be spare if needed. pete, if you bring some stuff with you its a good idea it all goes on the bbq and we take what we want, works well if we all chip in with bits. there was a waitrose about the 3-4 miles into town that keith and myself went to last time so we should be able to do any necessary top-ups on Saturday assuming any of us are legal to drive

i've also got a small 3 man tent if anyone wants to borrow it. I'm bringing a packet each of bacon, burgers and sausages, and a few rolls to go with them. I'm bringing the big bbq as well so there'll be plenty of spare room on it, if someone else has got one it may be worth bringing it for saturday night. It looks like we may have a big turn out as the yeovil boys have said they may be joining us as well.

I'll be up for it - although we must be careful how many away days we have - poor old bashley could end up a lonely place next year!

yeh would be nice to go there again, but I dont think its my kinda track. I prefer the more technical tracks with more variety to the track... dont get me wrong, i really enjoyed the track....but would rather race a track like bashley / yeovil or west london (judging by pics)
plus its a little far to travel for one day, very early start and a late finnish
