I know a few of us traveled up friday afternoon/evening,including my self...Im thinking of taking the friday off to make a proper "week end" of it...how early did the club allow racer's in that friday?? Ps And yes Matt, Chrissy said you can share the caravans back bed with Taz...be warned though he can get a bit snappy if you try to spoon with him, he sleeps with a bone too, dont touch it or your hand will be in pieces ;D...Ill provide the warm bed and sleeping partner, you pay the camping fee...deal? ?

ha ha ha, cheers Les.
Me and Dad have booked a hotel. We will be there Saturday Morning.
I will have to pass on the offer of sleeping with Taz, the last thing the wife needs is me coming home with more bad habits.
We will probably hang on after practice for a bit of Bashley villiage socialising mind.
What food shall we bring?
Matt

I shall be there about 1pm saturday. Have to wait for the girlfriend to finish work as she is travelling up for the weekend with me! So will be a rush practice for me! Hopefully the weather will be good and there will be some more firewood .

dont quote me on this yet, but me and ian were talking about travelling friday and thought the earliest was 4pm.
either way maybe we should get ourselves in respect of food and cooking facilitys, this is the first real slcc meeting of the year, better do it in serious style. get a list of whos coming when, i hope you dont mind me saying, but i know les marinates a good piece of meat, and i have easy access to plenty of bbq coals and such, get a list of who can supply what and sort it out.
this one im looking forward to, and if the idea and offer of spooning with taz is an open one, it should be enought to get even sedgleys MOJO back!

Sedgleys MOJO???....somthing to do with a female I think? Providing the weathers good i would expect ,bring your own for friday nights BBQ..it will be lit asap and kept going, pop food on when you arrive..as for sat, last year Chrissy made a big list and done the lot in one hit at the local super market....Perhaps the girls may want to go shopping in the afternoon and leave us lads all on our own..boo hoo ........yes please ;D Will the purple alien be moderating his intake this year..or will we be seeing more praying on one knee in the nearest ditch and another red indian dance..must have been the toxic fumes off the BBQ "a" Keith? ;D

My bbq's are a thing of legend. ;D Last year we were allowed to camp from friday night but not allowed to use the track if I remember correctly. Not sure what time we were allowed to set up camp but the gate to the airfield closes around 7-7.30pm.

Cheers for the bed Les! I'll bring that silly tent too.. just incase Tazmo feels the urge to do more than spoon.. the tent can be erected in 30 seconds.. much like taz... I'm up for travelling up on Friday night.... As for my Mojo.. it really isn't there for the rc racing at the minute.. I think "burn out" is a worthwhile expression to use, and as such, I'll be stepping back from racing for a bit I think. Too much hassle with certain members and their "issues" however it's great to see the club pull together as a unit behind a fallen man.. even if he is a part time racer I'm certain the purple alien won't be visiting me this time, but I think Newton needs a visit.. infact.. I'd pay for Newton to have a visit! Matt

Yeah that does tend to put them off a bit. ;D ;D Especially when it used to read June 1972..June got buried deep into a wrinkle never to be seen unless its a very warm day ;D Ps Caravaners.....take a short length of hose with tapered tap adapter with you,the fresh water taps are very high , gravity/tank fed and extremely slow, it took ages to fill my roller butts last year..will need to be transported back to camp site too!
